What you need
- A valid tax invoice from a registered occupational therapist
- Proof of payment (bank statement or receipt)
- Invoice must include therapist name, HPCSA number, practice number, child's name, date of service, description and amount
How to claim via SARS eFiling
- 1Log in to your SARS eFiling profile
- 2Select "Returns" and open your ITR12
- 3Go to the section on Medical Expenses
- 4Capture the total amount paid for therapy sessions
- 5Keep invoices and proof of payment in case SARS requests them
- 6Submit your return
