Assessment
A comprehensive assessment is completed using standardized tests, observations and a school visit by the therapist where appropriate.
Feedback & Recommendations
A feedback session with you to discuss assessment findings, therapy goals and intervention plan. This includes a detailed report and referrals to other medical professionals where appropriate
Therapy begins
An individualised therapy plan is developed and sessions begin at a frequency that suits your child and family.
Referrals are accepted from parents, caregivers, paediatricians, schools and other health professionals. Paid statements can be submitted directly to your medical aid for possible reimbursement. Please note that we do not submit claims directly to medical aids.

Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessment & Intervention
Standardised TestingA comprehensive assessment is individually selected according to your child's age, concerns and occupational needs. Standardised and clinical assessment tools are chosen to best match your child's profile and may explore sensory processing, visual-motor integration, visual perception, motor coordination, postural control, bilateral integration, praxis, fine and gross motor development, attention and functional participation.

Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Individualised intervention to develop the skills children need for successful participation in everyday activities.
Prematurity & Early Development
Developmental support for babies and young children who were born prematurely, are considered developmentally at risk, or require additional support in reaching early developmental milestones.
Sensory Integration Assessment & Intervention
Play-BasedWhere sensory integration difficulties are suspected, specialised assessment may be completed to explore how a child's sensory processing, postural control, bilateral integration and praxis are influencing participation in everyday life. Standardised and clinical assessment tools are selected according to the child's age and individual needs and may include the EASI measure, Sensory Processing Measures, Clinical Observations and Functional Assessments. Individualised, play-based intervention informed by the principles of Ayres Sensory Integration®, where appropriate. Therapy provides carefully graded sensory-motor experiences to support the underlying abilities a child needs to participate successfully in play, learning, self-care and everyday life.

School-Based Intervention
In-SchoolCollaborative support within the school environment — working alongside teachers and learning support staff to help your child access the curriculum, manage sensory demands in the classroom, and participate fully in school life. Observing a child in their classroom allows me to understand not only what they can do in a one-to-one assessment, but how they manage the real sensory, motor, attention and organizational demands of their school day. Seeing a child within their classroom provides valuable insight into how their motor, sensory, attentional and organisational abilities translate into real-world school participation. Therapy in the school based setting allows the therapist to collaborate in real time with the teachers/educators.
